<![CDATA[ - Crazy Lady's Corner]]>Sun, 20 May 2012 10:15:28 -0500Weebly<![CDATA[First Post This Year!]]>Wed, 16 May 2012 23:32:39 -0500http://crazylp.com/1/post/2012/05/first-post-this-year.htmlWe opened really early this year--April 1. This is the first chance I have had to update the site! We are adding products so fast that it will be another week or so before I get the Produce page or the Garden Products page updated. I apologize, but I really appreciate your patience! For those of you who have had a chance to stop by the stand, I hope you have enjoyed the upgrades we have done this year. We have been working hard to get everything ready and have strawberries for you as well. We know you are enjoying the strawberries! Peach season started this week as well so we are stocking our wonderful sweet peaches now too! And, BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND are the Crazy Lady's Strawberry/Peach cards! BUY 10 quarts of strawberries or peaches, get one quart FREE! Folks saved their cards from last year and others were asking about them so we are running this promotion again this year! We are glad you like our version of "frequent flyer" cards.

Everyone seems to be enjoying our Clearance section which I fondly call our "Scratch and Dent" section. This is the section where we put our slightly bruised apples, cucumbers, eggplant, tomatoes, and squash at a drastically reduced price. These veggies still can be eaten, they just aren't the prettiest to look at. We also have the overripe bananas and the wrinkly peppers in our scratch and dent section. These are both good for muffins or sautees respectively.

We also hope to expand our selection of spices and our organic sections. We are hearing what our customers are asking for and we are responding with positive (we think) changes. Keep the suggestions coming and as long as we have room, we will see what we can do about getting you what you want.

Hope to see you this weekend! Denise ]]>

Thanks to all for your concern and support!

Crazy Lady's Produce opens up for the season with Strawberries in just two short weeks, on April 16, 2011. Like I said, we are going into this season with a positive outlook though we will be missing some old faces from last season. We will be missing our friend Gail Cash from the store this year but we will look for ways to honor her memory throughout the season. Please stop by, share a story, or just catch up, and enjoy some sweet, juicy strawberries!
See you in two!
